About Gulf Coast Needleworks
Gulf Coast Needleworks was created by a mom, nurse, and chronic crafter who has never met a creative project she didn’t want to try.
Over the years, I’ve worked my way through just about every craft, from early DIY projects to running a small embroidery business in college, always finding ways to turn creativity into something meaningful. Even while building a career in healthcare, that creative side never went anywhere.
Today, I balance life as a nurse, mom, volunteer, and small business owner (x2 now), and this brand is a reflection of all of it. It’s where creativity meets real life, where projects are meant to be enjoyable, approachable, and something you actually look forward to sitting down and working on.
Inspired by coastal living and Southern traditions, each design is created to feel fresh, fun, and nostalgic, whether you’re brand new or have been stitching for years.
What started as a creative outlet has grown into something more & I swear, I'm just getting started.
Why Needlepoint?
After years of happily being a serial hobbyist (if there’s a craft, I’ve tried it), needlepoint became the one that stuck. Designing felt like the natural next step. I love being part of the ENTIRE process, designing, painting, Stitching & Finishing.
Needlepoint, for me, is more than just a hobby. It’s a way to slow down, quiet my mind, and ease anxiety in the middle of busy, often overwhelming days. The rhythm of stitching, watching something come together one stitch at a time. it’s grounding in a way that few things are.
